The 9400-16e SGL is a high-performance external storage adapter by Broadcom. It adopts tri-mode SerDes technology to support NVMe, SAS, and SATA devices, with a PCIe 3.1 x8 host bus interface for high-speed data transmission. Featuring 16 external ports (12Gb/s throughput each), it connects up to 1024 SAS/SATA or 24 NVMe devices per controller, ideal for data centers, cloud platforms, and HPC environments needing reliable external storage.

It excels in centralized external storage management, remote expansion, and multi-device data processing. Its compatibility and scalability meet critical business demands for stable, fast storage access, making it a practical choice for enterprise-level external storage expansion.

The specifications of the Broadcom 9400-16e SGL are as follows:
